147: To Be In Such A Mood

I can not stop listening to this Pocket remix of Joanna Newsom's "Bridges and Balloons." It's seriously the best thing i've ever heard.

I've been pretty busy lately, getting my set of Queen songs ready for two Halloween shows. They both went surprisingly well. Maybe this week I'll actually sit down and record decent versions of all of the songs and post em here. If you're curious, I did "Killer Queen", "You're My Best Friend", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and "We Are The Champions." That last one turned into a massive singalong in Dekalb. Were you there? Did you tape it?

I'm also jumping on the Threadless songs for next week. Starting the next batch of 125 or so. It's a loose commitment but once i get going, oh man... Speaking of which, it's official. I will be re-recording about 30 or so songs for a proper CD release along with a possible DVD. I would assume that would come out in the Spring of 2007. Contrary to my nature, i'd rather not rush through this thang.

In the world of fantasy football... after tomorrow, i'll be 4-4 after tonight. It's a done deal. And i've beaten the only undefeated team in our league. How did I do it? Marques Colston and Reggie Wayne delivered HUGE for me... and Donovan McNabb laid a big fat football shaped goose egg for my opponent. I'm 30 points ahead and i still have Chester Taylor and Ryan Longwell to look forward to. Finally, everything is coming up Milhouse.

Warp, woof, wimble...
