139: Sure As Kilimanjaro
Thanks for the comments! It's good to know that people are actually downloading and listening! The surprise up my sleeve was the Nathaniel Carroll song for this week. In fact, I'm going to try and have a guest musician come in every week and take a stab at one of the songs.
I'm really proud of these, probably because it's not just same old same old. My friend and bandmate Lauren LoPiccolo sang the main vocal on "3 House" and i think it sounds amazing. Those vocals are all first takes! She learned the melody in 5 minutes or less. I'm not even kidding! I'll be in her neck of the woods again this weekend so hopefully she can sing on something for next week as well.
Hint for next week: One of them is a straight up cover. It's an 80's song that shares the name of one of the shirts. The song was always one of my guilty pleasures so i just had to give a shot.

A few things. I originally thought Rorschach Hits the Disco was called Rorschach AT the disco. Thinking this was some sort of Panic reference, i stole one of the hookier parts of one of their hits for a section of the melody. No one got it I guess. I think someone might be out of the loop somewhere. Probably me.... AND speaking of being out of the loop, i did a 5th song last week for a shirt that didn't even end up getting printed. It may still come out but if not within the next few weeks, i'll just post it anyway.
