I just sent a wholesome boxful of t-shirts to George Duran. Doesn't ring a bell? He's also known as Ham On The Street, a really great show on The Food Network. I can't believe he actually emailed me back so fast. This is my in, people. I will have my own show by the end of the year. I didn't hesitate to mention our yearly holiday, Shanksgiving, as well. I'd like to get this one in the books. I'd like to have it printed in gray font on calendars, along with such ridiculous holidays as Boss' Day, Arbor Day, or Columbus Day.
Shanksgiving will be on Nov. 24 this year. Get those tofurkys nice and fatted.

Man, I love that show. The first one I ever watched was him trying to crack an ostrich egg w/o breaking the yolk, and then fry it...I was hooked.
He said he's going to wear the shirts for the remaining episodes of season 2! Oh yeah.
that's awesome, he's my favorite guy on food network right now behind alton brown. Feasting on asphalt really brought me back to that channel. Did you happen to catch that?
I'm not sure how I felt about Feasting On Asphalt. It seemed like Alton was pretty disappointed most of the time... and the interactions with the locals seemed awfully awkward. As if they didn't want to be bothered. I really want to try that "frybread" though...
So far I definitely prefer my daily dose of Good Eats to Feasting On Asphalt. But seriously Bob, when you do get your cooking show (it's clearly inevitable) it will probably be one of the coolest things on the channel.
i was watching laguna beach this afternoon and i swear one of the girls was wearing a city on film t-shirt.
you should call your cooking show "what a wonderful cooking show". or maybe "killing a tofurky".
or something less lame.
