Well, i've ordered a replacement Firewire cord. A retractable one to boot! Hopefully it will last a little longer than this broken one I'm staring at. Maybe if I don't slam it in as many car doors....

Thanks. This is the one I've been wanting.
Is this the only problem you've have with the ipod? I had to send mine back after only a few months for a replacement, and I'm just waiting for the new one to self destruct. I guess they don't build them to last very long since they come out with a new model about twice a year.
That is one of the most slept on 80's songs ever! My friend always plays it in his covers show at this bar here in Queens. Nice one!
