With the news that the mostly hilarious Sealab 2021 aired its final episode recently, I decided to post 2 Aqua Teen Hunger Force mp3's. Sorta related under that whole Adult Swim umbrella... I just don't have any Sealab mp3's. Anyway, if you're a fan, check out this little Q & A with Brett Butler (voice of Dr. Quinn) transcript at Bradley's Almanac. You'll be surprised to find that to this day, he has never even met Erik Estrada (voice of Marco).

And, lastly... I received a Colin Meloy solo show at Schuba's in Chicago recently and well... the boy can write a song. I just can't understand how this song didn't make it onto the newest Decemberists album (although via intensive research, i've found that it may be released on an upcoming "outtakes" cd. Assuredly, i'll like this personal solo version better.) ... Ok, Colin, take it.

"Outtakes cd"? The Hush 50th anniversary cd or is he planning on releasing something else on his own?
Haven't got 'picaresque' yet, although I ordered it the other day, hoping it's as good as 'castaways & cutouts', that's one amazing album.
Been browsing blogs lately, well, this evening seeing as I've had a shitty day and can't afford to go out at the moment, and there's a lot of people talking about this Sealab 2021 thing. I've never heard of it. It's not another one of these 'Spongebob Squarepants' things is it?!

i think Sealab 2021 is the best show on adult swim oh well at least Family Guy is still there
colin meloy is one of the better song writers out there. right up there with you, geoff farina, and john k sampson (both lyrically and musically for you all). the old tarkio stuff he did is really good as well, pretty alt-countryish without an alt-country voice. check out "I Guess I Was Hoping for Something More," especially the song Caroline Avenue. if you want I could send you an mp3 since the stuff is long out of print anyway.
