Robert: Hey gang! We're in Toledo at the moment - second to last show. Sighs all around... I'll be chatty on Monday. August 22, 2002
Ryan Snyder: So so much has happened since my last post. New York City was excellent and there was much partying on the rooftop of Bar 13. As Bob said earlier our trip to Allentown was excellent and filled with bad bowling (on my part) and some after hours free pizza and beer. Much much fun!!! Now we're in Cleveland chilling out. It's weird being back considering that at one point I lived here for about 8 months and did not really enjoy it all that much. That's a long long story that doesn't need to be retold. I'm not sure what we're going to do today but i'm all about relaxing until this evening. My body could use a rest from all the craziness of late. Today is Rob's (from Koufax) birthday so everyone wish him a good one. We celebrated last night with much drinkage and fun in Buffalo. AW YEAH!
Robert: What's even worse is that they attempted to gauge the success of our show on an H2O show that didn't do well a week before... And I just found out that the show was never listed on our website, which is the fault of a few parties... But we're in Cleveland now relaxing... Maybe we'll go to the rock n roll hall of fame. Maybe bowling.
TBELL: Hmmmm.. We only sold 11 tickets to your show... pre-sale.. I think we should cancel... Dumb promoters I tell ya... we are not that kind of band... idiots... Pitts, I'm sorry... Our apologies. Who do you think we are? Why would a band our size rely on pre-sale? Thanks for rockin' your pants off in Buffalo tonight.. great show.. had a blast. See you next time , surely.
Robert: Metropol (in Pittsburgh) has cancelled our show tomorrow, despite our pleas to keep it on. It's a dumb situation. Feel free to ask me about it... Also, email me if you have already bought tickets... August 20, 2002
Robert: Here we are, a wonderful relaxing day in Allentown PA. It feels like I just woke up. Wait a minute, I did just wake up... Mentally, it feels like I just woke up from 2 predictably crazy days and nights of general mayhem in Philadelphia and New York City. Phew. It feels nice to be warm and cozy in the interior now. And we're headed home... which is OK, but, well, I guess you can expect a lot more blogging from the troops once we are hit in the face with the harsh reality of nothing-to-do. And I'm relaxed for now. But there is trouble in the near future. Bix, our road tech maniac, calls this neck of the woods his hometown and promises a madcap night of cheap bowling, free beers, and free pizza. Looks like I may be still snoozing after all. A zillion thanks and best wishes to Piebald, who are headed home for real, after a grueling tour, complete with broken windows, scraped up trailer, and hematoma. We've known those guys for so long, it was good to finally get out on the road with em. Seems like it was one of those inevitable things. Let's do it again sometime... August 18, 2002
Robert: My phone is dead, my glasses have been stepped on, and I can't find non-pleated Dickies to save my life. But hey, I'm not complaining. I'm upstairs at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC, just had a wonderful brunch o'er at Kate's and tonight, we'll do some serious hangin with the STD boys... Wow, that always sounds weird, huh? |
