TBELL: Yes folks I'm alive.. better believe it.. still recouperating from the holidays.. I've had people staying over at the house nearly every day since I got back from tour.. people traveling and passing through. Seems like I haven't had one minutes rest. Sound familiar? Maybe it's just the PTD* lagging on.. not quite sure.. Saw Vanilla Sky last night. I enjoyed it. I think I'll have to see it again to get the jist. Very Jacobs Ladder-ish meets Danzig's "Twist of Cain". How's that for a description? Sorry.. that's all I got. Don't want to give it away. As you can see my blogging skills and wit are down.. it's been awhile and I'm blogging in foreign territory. Nope, not what your thinking... not hostile foreign territory.. more along the lines of the roomates computer with the ole free AOL bull-loney. AOL sucks. Ya see, my modem decided to stop working the day I got home from tour. Totally crapped out on me. It seems the day I get home from tour everything seems to go bad apples at the homestead.. not to mention the ongoing battle trying to keep Violet (one of me felines) from eating the fish. We got a fish named Princess Canada (don't ask..) and Violet has been on a mission since November to eat it.. that's when she first started noticing the fishbowl on the shelf above the record player.. typical cat, the fish has been living quitely in the house for nearly a year. Also had to call AAA to get a key made for the van.. my last existing set of keys is somewhere in LA, lost them om tour. hmmmmm... what else... Did I mention my house almost burned down on Christmas eve? Our upper was filled with black smoke and thankfully one of my roomates was home while I was kicking it with Roy in Urbana.. something caught fire in one of the air ducts. A minor disaster. Save the cats and fish! Cross your fingers for me, maybe i'll live to see the New Year. Saw Oceans' Eleven too. Very entertaining.. that's two for two on the good movie choices this holiday.. whoo hoo! Double Simpson's fun as well: Simpson's Monopoly and Trivia game courtest of Sandy Claws. Not bad.. More later.. I'll be rocking soon on my own unit once I get that dern modem goin'.. P.S. Anyone ever find my keys @ the Palace in LA?

dan: iPod shmyPod..does that thing skip yet..? file not found ...error.... did I mention my head feels like a sponge that has soaked up every last drop of water in my head..? that usually only happens when i drink-eth the wine-eth...needless to say I did make it to work like the good little lumberjack that I am... I slept on the floor last night in washington county..in the basement..on the floor.. well did ya think, no cannnnn do..? my orders have been shipped..MerryChristmas me...great, i just sneezed and my pepermint flew out.. mmmmm banana bread..warm banana bread..= cure for hangover... now theres another party today at 4pm...me no drinky a lot today.. peace out- December 28, 2001
dan: well it seems as though I've ironed everything out now around the house, including the dog...when you go away for a month or so your dog doesn't get brushed and dust collects in certain areas and a bunch of light bulbs go out etc etc ....so it seems like everythings back to somewhat normal..I got right back to work and it seems like I'm still moving at lightning speed..when can I chill..? When do I get the spa treatment..? the seaweed rap the soak..? I got a killer wool vest..seriously a vest..ya'll probably like what a vest..? If you see me in it you'd like it..it's kinda like a heavy duty logger type choppin' wood thing vest..heavy man..plus if you don't think it looks good standing up it'll probably look better when you're on the ground lookin' up at me..BITCH..! have a good new year..! Robert: 8 Void - Red House Painters Merry Christmas Eve everybody. Hope you're maxing and relaxing. I had the first of 4 pleasant family get-togethers last night and I'm already ahead with a beautiful deluxe edition of my favoritest word game! Scrabble! Oh yeah! I'd like to think it was something so special that you'd have to go all the way to a suq to find it, but any old Toys R Us has it... Today is major music day. I've listened to Mates of State, Pete Yorn, Cornershop, Modest Mouse, and now, Haymarket Riot. On deck - The Strokes and The Pretenders. Oh joy! Feels good to be catching up... ok... a few things. I used to play drums and sing in a band called Friction. On April 9th, Polyvinyl will be releasing a double CD discography. And there was something else to tell, but I forgot. Oh yeah, some February shows are solidifying with Duvall. December 23, 2001
